Open House Week- June 2-7
This week we open the doors of the BAA to the community with short performances, folk dancing, Maypole dancing, photography and painting exhibits.  The BAA will also host "Bring a friend to class day", class observations for parents and friends of the BAA, and a wonderful bake sale and car wash.  Be sure to mark your calendars and tell your friends!

Safety Reminder to Parents and Caregivers!

When you drop your student off for class, please wait until he or she is safely inside the building.  Do not assume that the entrance door is open and drive away even if you see Ms. Jayne’s or Ms. Deborah’s vehicles in the lot.  Also…dancers are not to wait outside the building for their ride, and all students must be properly attired in street clothes (i.e. pants or skirts) when they leave the building.  Wearing only leotards and tights to and from class is not permitted.

Well done!
Congratulations to BAA Level II students Bradley Dean and Robert Stanley who auditioned for and were accepted into the 6 week summer intensive program at the  Kirov Academy and Ben Stevenson Academy of the Houston Ballet.  Sarah Cheney and Alex Walters were placed on the wait list for the Kirov Academy summer intensiveKayci Kirkham, Level III, will return to the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C., having been invited for the third year to participate in both technique and performance sessions of their summer intensive.  Merde!
