BAA Summer Intensive
Pre-Ballet, Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced Students from the BAA and our region are invited to participate in the BAA’s Summer Intensive.

A half day program on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays is offered for the younger Pre-Ballet students (ages 5 through 7). The curriculum will include classes in Technique, Stretch and Strengthening, Painting and Theatrical Arts and Court Dance.

Beginner students (ages 8 and up) will meet daily for the full day Monday through Friday and will study the same courses.

Intermediate/Advanced students will meet daily for the full day and take classes in Technique, Pointe, Men’s Technique, Character and Contemporary and Ladies’ and Men’s Variations.

This program brings together an impressive gathering of accomplished artists who have exceptional expertise in their fields as choreographers, master teachers and world renowned performers. Mr. Hawkins and Ms. Stefani-Keating from the BAA will be joined by Evgenia Singur a graduate of the Bolshoi Ballet School and former soloist with the Russian State Ballet, Bat Erdene Udval a former principal dancer with the Russian Ballet Theatre in Moscow and Brandye Lee, co-founder of B2 Movement for Change and featured dancer in “The Lion King”. Throughout the course of the program “surprise” Guest Teachers will be invited to work with the participants.

*Field Trips to museums and art exhibitions for Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced participants will be planned for some Saturdays during the month.

Tuition
Pre-Ballet (half day): $400 4 weeks, /$200 2 weeks
Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced full day: $1,000 4 weeks, /$500 2 weeks

Registration
You may register for either a 2 week (the first 2 weeks only) or the full 4 week session. Please download a registration form and send it with your tuition payment to the address indicated or drop it off at the Academy no later than June 15.
