Dear Parents ,
We are almost coming to the end of this school year 2011-2012. This year I will be handing out the Advancement/Promotion Letter at the end of the Recital night where you get notified about the progress of your dancer. So I invite you to collect this letter as you leave the premises of The Bing Crosby Theatre on June 7 or June 8.
After the Recital there are no more classes until the week of June 18 when the Summer Classes for Children begin ,Classes for the 4 and 5 year olds begin (June 19 to June 28 ,Tuesdays and Thursdays) and Open Classes for Intermediate/Advanced begin that same week ( Monday through Thursday) and run through end of June.
On July 6 we start our Summer Intensive Program that culminates in the Performance at the Riverfront Park on July 29 and then we welcome Mr. Jefferson Baum for a week of Master Classes and Private Classes starting on Monday August 13 . Mr. Baum will be auditioning for Company and will also set a piece to be performed on FIRST NIGHT ( December 31 ). Schedules of rehearsals will be announced that week.
There will also be additional classes for Intermediate/Advanced from August 20 to August 30 (Monday through Thursday).
I thank each and everyone of you for your trust. I take my new position as the Director of Ballet Arts Academy very seriously and I will continue to bring top quality because I am committed to the Art of Dance!
The 2012 Recital will be held at the Bing Crosby Theatre this year. The dates are Thursday June 7th and Friday, June 8th. Information has been sent home about what day(s) your child will be performing. The studio dress rehearsal will be the Saturday prior. Picture day will immediately follow the dress rehearsal in the main studio. Your child will be able to wear his or her recital costume. Picture day order forms will be going home shortly. NEW! Here is a new DVD order form. This version has what day(s) your child performs as well a check box if you prefer it to be mailed instead of picking it up at Ballet Arts.

For the Young Dancers Program: Summer Classes for the very young ones, from 4 to 15 years of age . From June 18th to June 29th. Groups will be divided into Beginning Ballet/level1, Level2/level 3 ,Level 3B and Level 3A.
Summer Intensive and Open Class Registration.
Summer Intensive for Intermediate and Advanced: Summer Intensive classes for Intermediate Levels ( 4, 4A , 5 , 5/6 , 6) and Advanced level .There will be OPEN CLASSES from June 18th to June 28th ( Monday thru Thursday) from 3:45 to 5:15pm . INTENSIVE classes start July 6th and finish on Sunday 29th with a performance in the Riverfront Park at The Royal Fireworks .
